idk if this is obvious but agency margin is mostly hours per site $1500 for a site that took 3 weeks barely pays rent lol. same $1500 for a site you shipped in a day is a really good week everyone i talk to tries to fix it by raising prices first. the average readdy site goes from brief to published in under 30 min, which is why i keep thinking the hours are the bigger lever what's your real hours per site rn, revisions included?

Today we are releasing JST-2, the world's first full-stack physics-native world foundation model. Many world models learn in pixel/video space. We went back to first principles and built the entire model stack in 3D. Generate a 3D scene in seconds and expand it in real time. Create characters with motion built in, all through one general architecture.

someone replied to me last week, quoted $1500 for an info site and a form. mid build the client wanted payments and a more complex system. he got $500 more idk that's most agency math right there. the build is fine, the scope moving after the quote is what kills margin kinda why i like showing the client a live site early. the average readdy site goes from brief to published in under 30 min, so they react to the real thing before the quote is locked

had our first readdy event at the palo alto office this week, pretty fun shipped two things. cinematic sites, and a business agent that does the after launch stuff, seo, geo, google business profile setup the average readdy site goes from brief to published in under 30 min but a local biz doesn't care if nobody finds it on google. that's the part we're going after now

a designer told me a basic client site takes them a few days to build, even with no custom functionality say 3 days each. that's about 7 sites a month if nothing slips, and that's the ceiling on their income no matter how many leads come in the average readdy site goes from brief to published in under 30 minutes. at that point the ceiling is how many clients you can sell

agency money math for a freelancer selling $500 sites 4 a month is $2k 4 a week is about $8k 4 a day is about $40k the average readdy site goes from brief to published in under 30 minutes, so the build stops being the limit. finding 80 clients a month is the hard part now, which is the problem i'd rather have

Signal from agency owner Umut Topal: Businesses already running Meta ads but sending traffic to a weak—or missing—site. They’re investing in growth. The leak is after the click. Don’t pitch a redesign. Ask what happens next. Full talk: youtube.com/watch?v=Fb0SZNt5… #AgencyGrowth

I look at websites all day, but I want to see what people here are actually shipping. Built one recently? Drop the link and tell me who it’s for. I’ll pick 3 and share one thing I’d keep and one thing I’d change. #BuildInPublic #website #webdesign #websitedev

An agency feature can work perfectly for one client and still fail as an operating model. An agency owner told us this week that white-label wasn’t enough. The site-building part worked. The pain came from repeating the same steps for every client: invitations, access, and plan decisions. His request was reseller mode. That changed how I’m looking at agency features inside Readdy. The test is no longer: does this make one site easier? It’s: does this remove work every time the agency adds another client? We’re still deciding what to build. But the product boundary is much clearer now. Agency owners: which step becomes painful first as your client list grows? #AgencyGrowth #BuildInPublic

Last Friday, one of our users stopped by. His ask was simple: "I just want my website to look better." Here is what his original website, built @ReaddyAI , looks like: lnkd.in/gGQM4jh3 So @folse Frank Zhu rebuilt it for him. Here's what came out of it. We're turning this into a free template, so you can swap in your own photos and content and get the same result. Right behind it: a full walkthrough of exactly how it was built, including how we used Readdy together with Fal for the visuals. RT @ReaddyAI: "How did you get your first 10 customers?" Four AI founders, one panel, zero of them led with paid. The threads that repeate…

Readdy was the #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt. That is how we first get our early customers in scale. Later, since our ICPs are SMB, Business owners and agencies like website or marketing, we generate our next levels of clients through a lot of KOLs.
We asked 5 founders the same question at last week's panel (@metix_ai × @StarchildOnX × @Hellyeah × @ReaddyAI × Numix × Patchworks): "How did you land your first 10 customers?" Swipe through to see what @KinfulikeFu Kinfu, Adam Cai, @folse Frank, @DanniChenGTM , and @CathyChang00 said. Which one are you in? Drop a comment 👇

If you don't have your own insights of your ICP groups, money founders put into performance ads is just burning cash. One panel discussion we keep coming back to hosted by @metix_ai (formerly OpenJobs AI), Hellyeah AI, and Numix: dug deep into the true essence of Product-Led Growth, and it sparked some reflections I wanted to share. Here's the reality check on scaling: ➡️ Danni Chen: Skip this, and every dollar you pour into performance ads will likely burn with a negative ROI. ➡️ @folse Frank Zhu: You only earn the right to scale after you hit that Aha moment. ➡️ Cathy Chang .: Before you scale, you have to build an MVP by doing things that don't scale. ➡️ Adam Cai: Keep trying and be resilient. ➡️ Kin Fu: Once you're ready, the essence of performance marketing is relentless A/B testing across platforms and creative templates. It made me rethink how this applies to our own build at Readdy. Our users actually split into two distinct groups: small business owners who need a site but can't build one themselves, and independent designers/small agencies who use Readdy to deliver client work faster. Two different jobs-to-be-done, two different reasons to show up. And our own "Aha moment" isn't signup or even trying the product, it's the first time someone actually publishes. That's why, before we scale anything, our "unscalable MVP work" right now is going user by user to help a cohort of people who generated a site but never hit publish get across that line: running in parallel with KOL content, which is currently our more mature, faster-payoff channel. Community and ambassador efforts are built to support that same push, not to scale on their own yet. 🥳 A lighter moment from the Q&A: someone asked the panelists what they've been reading/watching to keep learning. Danni Chen follows Elena Verna, Growth at Lovable, for her thinking on growth Adam Cai pointed to Zero to One, a book that every founder should read. Kin Fu's answer took a hard left turn: A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality (凡人修仙传), a Chinese cultivation/xianxia web novel, definitely very unique perspective of growth. Huge thanks to everyone who joined. Conversations like this are exactly what founders need to see themselves, and the market, clearly. 💡 Thanks for the support: - @ccc_pl Cecilia Chen @StarchildOnX as the panel moderator, - @StarryWang008 @ReaddyAI as the videographer , - Ula Li as the photographer

Looking forward to seeing you tmr!
Excited to be speaking at "Growth: PLG vs Founder-Led Sales, and When to Switch" in SF this Thursday. This is a problem I think about constantly. Readdy's early customers came through our own network: reaching out, doing demos myself, closing deals one conversation at a time. That works until it doesn't. At some point outbound slows down, deals stall, and you realize the thing that got you here won't get you to the next stage. I'm looking forward to comparing notes with founders and operators who've actually lived through this transition: Danni Chen, Cathy Chang, Kin Fu, and Adam Cai. If you're building an AI product and wrestling with the same question: when do you move past founder-led sales, and what actually replaces it, come join us. luma.com/fxwyfyx3 #ProductLedGrowth #GTM #FounderLedSales #StartupGrowth #AIStartups
