We’ve added a new simulation under the 'Test' tab. Use it to identify an unknown radioactive source by changing the detector position, absorber material, and absorber thickness.

After a recent update to the Draw Polygon tool, there are now two ways to create regular polygons: click and drag, which makes it hard to judge the exact side length, and set exact side length, which does exactly what it says on the tin.

A teacher asked me today whether it’s possible to set up a Techsoft-style crossed drawing grid with snap-to enabled. I was pleased to report that this functionality is already built into Focus 2D.

Every little helps! We’ve improved our Focus 2D Designer menu functionality so the right-hand menu bar can now be hidden. This gives you more space for drawing, especially on tablets and smaller screens.
