Trump is the worst thing ever to happen to this country besides wars, chattel slavery, indigenous genocide, and their effects.

I don’t normally tag people I follow, but honestly … @RadioFreeTom needs to see this.
RFK Jr. to Tucker Carlson: β€œWe need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.” (2025)

β€œI didn’t think the scorpion would sting me!” said the frog who voted for the Scorpions Stinging Frogs Party.
An old, but apt fable: A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: "I am sorry, but I couldn't help myself. It's my character." @Wikipedia

Whatever Trump and Putin have on Lindsay Graham must be the worst of the worst compromising material.
Lindsey Graham on Sen. Cassidy's defeat: "If you try to destroy President Trump, you're gonna lose, because this is the party of Donald Trump"

Scrolling through the replies in support of her is like swimming through raw sewage of hate. These people need Christ in their lives.
I can’t even enjoy a walk on the greenway without running into foreigners. I’m in Middle Tennessee. I should not be coming across Muslims (possibly Somalians) speaking in a foreign language. They are not wanted here, @GOP! Do what we elected you to do β€” deport all of these foreigners.

Probably a good day to retweet this.

β€œThe guest was told to sit down, but refused to obey our lawful orders,” the police said in a statement. β€œIt is illegal to disrupt the Congress and demonstrate in the congressional buildings.” Gosh, how long has THAT been a law? theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

We are truly at DEFCON Level Idi Amin.
Trying to provoke both a world war and a civil war at the same time while demanding a Nobel Peace prize is a level of insanity we’ve never seen ever before.

In case it's not blindingly obviously, the people currently staffing @DHSgov are groypers who've spent extensive time stewing in the online far right and are using government resources to promote or wink at straight-up neo-Nazi stuff.

When someone who caused an insurrection hires a woman who murdered a puppy and a goat to run his secret police force. It is no surprise that the result is: -people being shot in the eye -unarmed moms being murdered -tear gas grenades being thrown at children -gangs of thugs swarming and beating unarmed individuals unconscious -in public, on camera All to stoke a violent response that can be labeled an uprising to create justification for a military crackdown on US citizens.

Outstanding, succinct thread from someone inside the White House that infamous day.
Five years ago today, I was in the West Wing on January 6, watching a violent mob storm the U.S. Capitol. I was horrifiedβ€”not just by the chaos, but by the president doing nothing to stop it. It was un-American, and I resigned that day.

Something that this tough-guy rhetoric obscures: if America’s primary ambition now is to rule the western hemisphere, that is a substantial demotion of American power
This is OUR Hemisphere, and President Trump will not allow our security to be threatened.

My sisters and brothers in Christ, it’s as simple as this.
I ask Christians who support Trump to read these two contrasting passages from the Bible & tell me honestly which passage checks all the boxes when it comes to Trump. He clearly embodies every single thing God hates. What’s going to be your excuse to God for supporting such evil?

I am a Minnesota Republican legislator. I never agreed with Melissa. Not once. But I’m begging people to stop sharing this conspiracy theory. She is not terrified in this video. She’s crying because she had to take this vote to keep the government open, and it was incredibly hard for her. That’s who she was as a leader. Even though I didn’t agree with her, I could tell her heart was absolutely in it, and the weight of her decisions were worn on her sleeve sometimes. There were people on the hit list that did not take that same vote. Tim Walz had nothing to do with the assassinations. The fraud had nothing to do with the assassinations. The assassin was deranged. Completely and utterly deranged. And Minnesota lost a good woman because of it. Please, unless you have evidence, stop trying to get social media clout off the death of a good person that you know nothing about.
So are we just planning on pretending like her murder isn’t connected to the multi billion fraud scandal just uncovered? Mmmmkay.

Here is the 60 Minutes segment on CECOT that CBS management under Bari Weiss shut down under pressure from the Trump administration.
The CBS 60 Minutes CECOT segment showed up in Canada's Global TV app and then quickly disappeared. But a direct copy (not a screen recording) is now archived online: archive.org/details/60minute… journa.host/@w7voa/115766257…

For the record. This was not unanimous. I was muted on the call and not allowed to speak or voice my opposition to thisΒ  move. Also for the record, this was not on the agenda. This was not consensus. This is censorship.
I have just been informed that the highly respected Board of the Kennedy Center, some of the most successful people from all parts of the world, have just voted unanimously to rename the Kennedy Center to the Trump-Kennedy Center, because of the unbelievable work President Trump has done over the last year in saving the building. Not only from the standpoint of its reconstruction, but also financially, and its reputation. Congratulations to President Donald J. Trump, and likewise, congratulations to President Kennedy, because this will be a truly great team long into the future! The building will no doubt attain new levels of success and grandeur.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The building is statutorily named the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Congress did not give the board the authority to change the name. law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/20…

I may never have read such a perfect analysis of Trump and his cabal as is found in this essay.
