Look, Raptors fans, I couldn’t care less how your season goes or doesn’t go, and I couldn’t care less about Kawhi anymore he doesn’t play for my team lol. But this propaganda is crazy. Dude wanted to get paid. He had three options to make that happen: two said no, and one said yes. He got extremely close to the max and chose Toronto. Now suddenly we’re supposed to believe this was some profound “come to Jesus” moment about his legacy? lol That’s a massive leap from “Toronto is a good place for his legacy.” It also contradicts basically every report this summer about what was actually driving his decision. You can argue Toronto enhances his legacy without rewriting the reason he went there.
