The pelvis and deep core escort the arm!
You can’t fire a cannon off a canoe.
If the base isn’t stable, power leaks upstream.
Clean up the global movement system → the arm takes care of itself.
Move Better. Play Better.

Why is this so common?
A hidden epidemic affecting young players today is the increased hours in a seated position. Kids spend hours sitting at school, on the phone, iPad, computer, playing video games better known as "tech neck"

Poor movement flow. Players are comfortable and stable in static positions, but struggle with dynamic movements.
One of the biggest differences between professional and amateur players is in their ability to transition from one athletic posture to the next.
8/12
Poor hip hinge awareness: leads to poor posture due to the interdependence of the pelvis and spine, which decreases force production and direction
7/12
Kyphosis with forward head posture: flexed thoracic spine leads to poor deep neck flexors activation, which leads to poor stabilization of the head when pitching or hitting
5/12
Rib flare: poor activation of the diaphragm and obliques leads to increased low back extension and inefficient hip to shoulder separation closure
4/12
Rectus abdominis dominant: leads to a flexed posture due to the muscle imbalance of the back extensors and flexors, which is a posture and performance killer
