You don’t want to be the Michael Burry of AI infrastructure and Bitcoin.
$IREN
Well said.
The naturally AI bearish macro folk feel supported by rate hikes and pre election FUD.
Armed with math and previous regime comparisons.
Now is the time to make a statement, that I can refer back to, or delete.
This one is especially for AI Infra folks $IREN $NBIS $MRVL and even $META
We are no longer seeing a clean selective capital formation scenario and thats probably why we have seen so many macro guys that were quite for so long, suddenly rushing out the door claiming the king is naked
The market has rotated toward what we can call a scarcity crowding out regime: geopolitical + logistical bottlenecks are raising the value of existing physical capacity while the high cost of capital is beginning to suppress leadership in the next layer of AI and industrial capacity expansion.
Macro folks spot this because they are always looking at commodities, rates and they never lose sight of tech (especially the high flyers). What they are seeing now is that the AI physical capital cluster has broken relative leadership, while barrels exist but moving and refining the barrels is now very hard, and rates keep testing Bessent (also keep a look at JPY - not great). All in all, it does not surprise me that they are now embarking on two thesis archetypes:
i) The technology can be transformative while the people financing the infrastructure destroy capital. He compares data centers to shale's enormous spend, but terrible ROIC, and says the buildout can continue long after the economics stop making sense.
ii) Assumption invalidation: compute scarcity, unobstructed infrastructure deployment, and abundant financing. The argument is now that planned capacity is huge relative to estimates of 2030 demand, while bottlenecks mean much of the announced pipeline may never get built (which is actually bullish I know).
Some of this are actually sensible questions, like whether the data center itself generates enough AI revenue to justify its depreciation and capital cost.
But the real point here is that they are watching macro tipping, and they know this is the time to ring the bells and be the next macro oracle: "the guy who saw it coming." Obviously, the AI buildout contains characterics of previous bubbles and it is happening in a cyclical sector, which raises a lot of eyebrows, but what we are seeing now from the macro crowd is simply a great risk/return statement opportunity: they speak now because the clouds are getting darker - it helps if your bubble thesis has help from broader macro factors.
Their risk is basically if that macro squeeze reverses before hyperscalers actually cut spending, the whole construct can rerate hard. Or even if freight and product tightness ease, inflation pressure fades, the 10 year finally falls and suddenly marginal AI projects that looked questionable start clearing the hurdle again.
It’s early in this regime change.
If the DXY keeps rising, expect the velocity of the shift to slow.
The real fireworks are when DXY trades lower.

It's been a challenging 9 months knowing he's not my son but I'm so excited to raise him like my own.

Good morning.
If you are selling hard assets like gold and bitcoin as yields rise and bond auctions become disorderly, you are not paying attention to the underlying problem and inevitable currency debasement coming.
Have a great day.
Still cheap
And derisked.
$NUAI has entered into a 20-year PPA with a Vistra affiliate for up to 207 MW of firm, contracted power for Phase 1 of Texas Critical Data Center (TCDC).
The agreement provides New Era with power expected to be available in Q3 2027 from Vistra’s adjacent 1,180 MW Odessa generation facility.
New Era and Vistra have also entered into a development framework agreement that establishes a pathway for advancing future power development at TCDC and other New Era projects.

Supporting our friends.
Digital Asset Treasury companies are starting to separate into leaders and laggards.
Over the last 3 months, the leaders aren’t necessarily the companies with the biggest crypto holdings.
They’re the ones with:
• The strongest balance sheets
• The best capital structures
• Access to capital
• The ability to compound NAV per share
• And, most importantly, the right people behind the structure
The laggards are increasingly being exposed by weak financing structures, dilution, leverage, or poor capital allocation.
In this cycle, I think the biggest differentiator won’t be what digital asset a company owns.
It will be who owns it, how they finance it, and what they do with the balance sheet.
The next phase should make the winners and losers even more obvious.
Neoclouds aren’t one business.
$IREN is the heavy model: high capex, full vertical ownership, large secured power.
$NBIS is the operator model: asset-lite buildout, judged on execution.
$CRWV is the financing model: debt-funded leasing to get capacity live at scale.
Who wins depends on whether the scarce thing is power, speed, or capital.
The market is concerned about capex for 2027 At 25-30B

And 90% GPU financing
Plus DataCenter (REIT like) Financing
Minimizes the need for Equity dilutive financing.
