In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

not to wade into the drama, but fwiw, every "teambuilding group" at least started as a group of friends who met at an event (local, regional, etc.), decided they liked each other and had fun talking about Pokemon together. It's really not more complicated than that.

AI art sucks in a million different ways, but what is extra stupid about this is how unnecessary it is. You went out and won a physical trophy, take a picture of yourself taking notes with the trophy next to you!
