neither the macarons nor the meringues worked out but that's okay bc i'm just gonna whip up some marshmallows, toast them with my torch and garnish with a coupla raspberries and the pie will look primo
Should I attempt to make macarons for my mom's bday? I have a bunch of leftover egg whites from the raspberry custard I made for her tart, and I wanna use them up. I have all the ingredients for a small batch of macarons

I made a teeeeeny tiny batch bc I didn't have much icing sugar. I got 4 shells out of it and they're in the oven! I think with the leftover egg whites I'll also make some meringue cookies, and decorate with both the shells and the cookies. I made the meringue purple
