A hyper-specialized business with the sole purpose of securing power for energy-hungry AI and maximizing inference performance and efficiency at both the software and hardware levels
It's a custom-made business model for the largest revolution in the history of technology, perfectly designed to serve it, and yet people think it's a speculative, maybe even temporary industry

🇳🇱 $NBIS is occupying 200MW at VOLT's upcoming AI gigafactory in the Netherlands. Great news!
But you know what's more interesting?
VOLT is also developing 2 other DCs. And I think Nebius will be a tenant at both.
🇮🇳 Hyderabad: 150MW, construction starts 2027.
🇦🇪 Dubai: 29–129MW, construction starts 2027.
Nebius has a history of working with trusted infrastructure partners across multiple projects.
1. They used Dataone as the developer at Vineland and now for Frankfort, Indiana.
2. They used Caverion as the technical infrastructure contractor at Mäntsälä I, and are using them at Mäntsälä II, Lappeenranta, and Estonia site.
I don't think it's a coincidence that VOLT has projects in both Hyderabad and in Dubai.
1. Nebius has confirmed it is building a Hyderabad DC
2. @romanchernin was recently in the UAE to meet with Minister of State for AI. Additionally Raja Agarwal VP of EMEA is based out of Dubai.
Nebius partnering with VOLT at Hyderabad makes more sense than a local infrastructure partner. Trust is a big thing especially in a completely new market.
And if Nebius is working with VOLT at both Rotterdam and Hyderabad, then why not Dubai where there is already a breadcrumb trail?
