Not nearly enough discussion of how the Trump indictment points to racism in Trump's conspiracy. His conspiracy complained of >100,000 fake votes in Detroit, an Atlanta election worker handling ballots like they were "vials of heroin," that 30,000 noncitizens had voted in Arizona

Just a really great profile of @SarahAnthony517
Senator Sarah Anthony, a Lansing Democrat, has made her mark in Michigan politics. Not only is she first Black woman to lead the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee, but she helped to usher in the state's historic $82 billion budget and the first D... mlive.com/politics/2023/07/m…

Go, @ltgovgilchrist! The Soo Locks play a crucial role in Michigan's economy. They provide thousands of jobs and facilitate millions in trade each year. This new Lock is just one example of how we're rebuilding Michigan's critical infrastructure.
A new Soo (Lock)! Today I joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District to congratulate them on securing funding for a new Lock. The Soo Locks are a critical piece of infrastructure nationally, and their reliability is essential to U.S. and Michigan manufacturing.

Today, @GovWhitmer signed the bipartisan education budget for FY24 that makes the highest state per-student investment in Michigan history, ensures all public school students get free breakfast and lunch, and takes the first step toward free pre-K for all 4-year-olds.

Hey @StellantisNA, your modified @Chrysler Pacifica is an excellent van for transporting individuals in wheelchairs. My parents bought one for my brother. Could you work with a dealer to donate one to MSU shooting survivor Nate Statly? Everyone RT this. detroitnews.com/story/news/l…

Today, Governor Whitmer signed our two rail grade separation bills into law. For decades, train delays have cost Downriver residents their lives, livelihoods, and a lot of wasted time. Our legislation will finally update our infrastructure to meet the needs of our communities.

Legislative director for Whitmer and former State Senator Curtis Hertel Jr. has filed to succeed Elissa Slotkin in her Lansing-based seat. With the support of Slotkin, Whitmer, and Stabenow, Hertel is likely to cruise through the primary, and may face Tom Barrett in November.

This week @Vote4Morse and I reintroduced legislation to expand our state’s Bottle Bill to plastic waters bottles and all other non-carbonated beverages except milk containers. This would promote recycling and help keep bottles and cans out of landfills. senatedems.com/mccann/2023/0…

Democrats are just over here passing amazing legislation to allow Michigan the power to protect or precious dunes, rivers and lakes and undoing some bad old Republican lame duck shenanigans. But it’s budget week, so almost no one will notice. 🤷🏻‍♂️ – at Lansing, MI
Michigan House votes 56-52 to repeal the "no stricter than federal" law passed during the 2018 lame duck session. The law barred state agencies, with some exceptions, from promulgating rules stricter than federal standards.
