What I keep seeing: owners know AI matters. They've poked at ChatGPT, found it didn't sound like them, shut the tab. Or they've not tried anything because the tools keep stacking up. AI just sits on the list, another year goes by.
That's why I'm running this.
If you want to get a workout in before your family has woken up then a bedtime alarm is more important than a morning alarm.
Most fitness coaches want you to stay with them forever.
I haven't done my job if you're with me months down the line.
That's the power of Identity Based Fitness.
Keeping yourself accountable over relying on someone else.
DM 'Identity' for more info.
Stop with the ‘1 hour workout 3x a week’
Just try and doing some kind of movement everyday.
5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes.
Whatever you feel like to start with.
Eventually your identity will shift to one that prioritises movement daily.
Then you can ramp it up.
For 95% of people the issue with staying healthy isn’t lack of knowledge.
The issue is an unhealthy identity.
Once you fix the identity issue, progress skyrockets.
Hate the gym? Don’t go.
Hate running? Don’t run.
Hate weightlifting? Don’t lift weights.
There are countless alternatives.
Workout at home. Do BJJ. Do calisthenics.
The easiest way to struggle with consistency is to do something you hate.
Pick 1 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 snack that hits most of your calorie and protein goal that you could eat daily.
Mix up the evening meal with the remaining calories and protein.
Skip the snack if your evening meal is going to be bigger.
This is how you put eating on easy mode.
I gave up alcohol for a year just to prove to myself I could do it.
My alcohol use after that year has dropped dramatically.
I can safely say - life with limited alcohol is way better than multiple times a week.
Stop with the all or nothing approach.
Just because you can’t do an hour workout doesn’t mean you can’t do 10 mins.
Just because you are a bad meal doesn’t mean you have to eat bad all weekend.
These are just excuses.
Getting in shape is the single greatest gift you can give your kids.
They will learn discipline, grit and healthy habits.
DM me 'role model' if you want help getting there.
Kids much prefer high energy.
Watch the mood change when you play enthusiastically vs just sitting and watching.
The falling birthrates aren't helped by the fact that most people that talk about their kids talk about the negatives.
'I'm so tired'
'I have no time'
'She cried the whole way through the meal'
Lets stop this.
Having a kid is the best thing ever.
Everyday I get multiple moments of pure joy when watching my little girl.
Running up for a hug or a kiss.
Achieving something she couldn't do before.
Belly laughing at the smallest thing.
Are there hard parts? 100%
But those hard parts build your character.
Its the best self improvement programme you'll ever take.
So lets stop listing all the negatives.
Start speaking of all the amazing parts.
Because there's many of them.
Don't feel like finishing that last rep?
Project a few years into the future when you come home from a long day and your kid asks you to play with them.
Do you say yes? Or do you say you haven't got the energy?
You don't need a gym to stay fit.
You don't even need a bar or gymnastic rings.
It is possible to get in great shape with your body and space to move.
You only thing standing between you and becoming fit is your mind.
Watching my wife go through pregnancy and then see our daughter grow up and develop into a little girl skyrocketed my amazement of the human body.
If you believe its impossible to stay fit post kids then wipe that shit from your mind right now.
How many people are there with 1, 2 3, 4+ kids and still in good shape?
The kids aren't the issue, your beliefs are.
