Flew the @flightdubs drone over the low farms around the Ohio River in Evansville this morning and met some fellow drone pilots mapping topography for the new I-69 bridge. My car sat right in the middle of the future roadway.

River View Coal sits near the Ohio River & uses miles of conveyor belts to transport coal from underground to a cleaning station (using specific gravity to remove the non-coal soil and minerals) then onto barges and into the marketplace. It never touches the road.
First time getting to fly something like this! Nearly 1 Million pounds sitting on 128 tires with one truck pulling, one truck pushing, and 4 remote operators walking alongside to steer the different trailer segments around turns. Slow and steady.
Enjoyed getting to fly over this @EdwardsMoving "superload" – all 960,000 lbs of it – making the last bit of its journey to Hoptown. The last in a series of six loads to complete a large auto parts stamping press at @MartinreaInt.
