🐾 He was only there to KEEP the peace. Her hand was ON her dog. He FIRED anyway. Both dogs DEAD. Haley Smallwood's ex was PICKING up his things. The officer CAME on a civil standby. She WARNED him dogs were inside. More than ONCE. Max, her Rottweiler, CAME out. She REACHED for him. About eight SHOTS rang out inside her HOME. A friend ASKED, "Did the dog bite you?" He SAID no. Kids were CRYING in the next room. Her son CAME home to find his dogs gone. He's charged with a MISDEMEANOR. He still WEARS the badge.

#Seattle, Oct 12, 2026, 12:00 PM hour. Massive police response outside Swedish Ballard Hospital 5300 Tallman Ave NW. Access to hospital blocked for about an hour. Reason: person in driver seat of a truck near emergency entrance slumped over with head on steering wheel. A witness passing by said it appeared to be an older man. Seattle Police treated it as a high-risk traffic stop. Lots of officers, shields, careful approach. After hailing and shooting vehicle with 9mm non-lethal rounds no response. SPD moved in and found the man deceased in the driver's seat.
