How do the basal ganglia turn what you see into what you do?
New preprint w/ @kennethd_harris, @flicker_fusion & Matteo Carandini: we recorded across striatum, GPe & SNr in a Go/No-Go task. Striatum encodes which stimulus, GPe & SNr encode whether to act.

The Peters Lab is now open at Oxford and ready to build a team!
We'll study how the brain learns and controls behavior, especially in the cortex-basal ganglia-thalamus circuit.
