and just like that…we’re statistics. my husband had to travel for work this week and took every precaution, but he developed a breakthrough case of Covid. we isolated from him but it was too late…we were all exposed. we are ALL fully vaccinated…and this is infuriating.

no lie…I’m scared. I’m angry. we’ve made it this far (almost two years) with no infections. we’ve been SO careful. we’ve never let down our guard. we never stopped masking, distancing, etc. I just want to stay away from the hospital. I just want to stay with my kids.

trying to focus on the fact that I’m fully vaccinated and my body knows how to fight this but it’s still scary. stay safe. get boosted...and for f*ck sake if you’ve chosen not to get vaccinated at all - unfollow.
