He recorded it. He was subsequently dismissed. And then, according to Matthew, Hovis offered him a settlement agreement with conditions preventing him from publicly discussing what happened. In other words, he says they tried to buy his silence. Meanwhile, we’re constantly told we must be “accepting” of religious practices, even when ordinary people question how those practices affect shared spaces.
