I installed a box high up on a pole somewhere in the Mission. Inside is a crappy Android phone, set to Shazam constantly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's solar powered, and the mic is pointed down at the street below walzr.com/bop-spotter

Hi music tech pals (and beyond) — I’m looking for an amazing senior PM, ideally on this side of the pond, to join my team at DistroKid. It’s a crazy cool role; maybe it’s for you or someone you know? Hit me up if any questions, full info here: distrokid.teamtailor.com/job…

I am beyond excited to be back in the music space, and to get to work with the thoughtful and kind team that has built @DistroKid up into a service that currently distributes 30-40% of the world's new releases (!!), day after day.

So what next? We're making DistroKid's tools even *more* useful and fun for anyone—and everyone—who makes music. So much to build! Want to help? I'm looking for designers, product people, and more: get in touch, DMs are open.

Re-upping for the Monday crowd in case there are any I’ve missed! The IG dumps are so complete (yay regulation) that I’m surprised there isn’t more of an ecosystem here 🤔
Help needed! Are there any nice tools/parsers that can turn Instagram data downloads into more useful formats? (eg. a browseable gallery or website, a PDF, or even just restoring media file chronology + metadata from the various bits of JSON?)
