Fellow Rangers / 1.1B / we want High Burn
Yesterday was an important day.
The community voted in the Burn Gauge with 1.1B $RSR. That is a clear statement. We do not want unlocks. We want High Burn.
Now the first gauge vote is open. Rank HIGH BURN first.
Simple version for anyone holding $RSR as an investment:
Unlocking = more coins dumped on the same buyers. Your bag gets smaller. Price melts.
Burning = coins disappear. Your bag is a bigger piece of what is left.
HIGH BURN does both:
• zero new $RSR hits the market
• every 1 RSR the protocol already burns also burns 4 from the locked treasury
Last monthly protocol burn was 16.3M $RSR. On High Burn that also destroys ~65M from the lock wallets. ~81M gone. On Low Burn that extra burn is only half. On Sustain / Low Growth / High Growth, new coins start printing - and those coins do not go to you. They go to the treasury. Outsider holders pay the dilution.
There are still 37.5B locked tokens that have never circulated. That mountain is why new money stays away. Unlocking does not make $RSR investable. It makes the overhang worse.
The team already said there is no emergency funding need. Confusion Capital sits this vote out. Outsider holders decide.
A crypto-friendlier SEC under @SECPaulSAtkins is a tailwind for onchain funds. Tailwinds are wasted if we keep unlocking supply into them.
If you hold $RSR and treat it as an investment, vote High Burn.
Now. And every quarterly vote for at least the next 5 years.
HIGH BURN is how $RSR rises from the ashes. Further unlocking will never do this.
Do your homework.
Vote.

$RSR just got listed on @Upbit, Korea's largest exchange, with KRW and USDT pairs. 🇰🇷
📈 About +60% in the first 15 minutes after the listing
💰 Now around $0.00245, up roughly 50% in 24h
🔥 24h volume was about $157M, higher than the whole market cap (~$153M)
🗳️ Holders voted for High Burn, so no treasury tokens unlock
Shorts piled in on futures and funding sits at −2%. A squeeze toward $0.0026–0.0029 is possible.
I bought in 2020 #mercedes GLS 400D. What surprises me is @MercedesBenz's approach to digital extras. At this price range they should all be lifetime.
If this policy does not change, my next car will most likely be a @Tesla if they make a big SUV.
We made it guys!
Very clear results.
$RSR entering new phase.
Glad to be part of it.
I am a @grok guy. Needed to make pictograms for our new website. I tried several times with Grok Imagine yesterday, then again today and it was still missing something.
Today - cuz I was desperate - I tried @ChatGPT and holly f*ck...the first attempt great - the second perfect as I needed that.
@spacexai do something about this. I really want to stay with you but this is miles away!!!
Give me one single reason that would make you vote for milestone unlock while being outsider with 435M $RSR voting power...
@reserveprotocol community put this wallet on your watch list: 0x04F6980cbEc49220e8bd380e89E962F9e5Cf50FC
I am curious of all future actions that this wallet makes.
I do not suggest anything but hey...let's be reasonable here...
“My point exactly” is literally in my post:
“Give me one single reason that would make you vote for milestone unlock while being an outsider with 435M $RSR voting power...”
That is serious question.
Of course I know the burn proposal passed, but that doesn’t affect my statement. I could elaborate, but I expect to interact with smart people, not Grok 4.0.
That wallet did not vote on both proposals. It voted only on Milestone unlock. But that is also irrelevant for my post since if it would voted “for” on Milestone and “against” on Burn I’d ask it anyway.
I want to know one single reason that would lead you to this decision while being one of top outsider hodlers.
To my fellow $RSR rangers on current Snapshot vote:
Anyone reasonable should vote Burn Gauge, then lock High Burn.
That is the only realistic way $RSR can grind out some scarcity before any larger $DTF adoption. I cannot honestly see the case for voting otherwise. The forum already said there is no emergency funding need.
Last three years of unlocks, in one picture:
• 49.4B still locked in the Slow Wallet, April 2023
(original scheduled unlocks were already finished)
• 37.5B still locked and never circulated, August 2026
(Confusion Capital pledge)
• ~11.9B withdrawn from the lock wallets between those two dates
Last full protocol fee burn (25 Aug 2026): 16,313,671 RSR
On High Burn that becomes:
• 16.31M - protocol fee burn (happens with or without the gauge)
• 65.25M - extra treasury burned (4×)
• 81.57M - total destroyed if you count both
If High Burn stays on, and monthly burns stay at August’s print:
Burning an amount equal to those 3-year unlocks (~11.9B) takes❗️15.2 years❗️
Burning the remaining locked pile (37.5B) takes❗️48 years❗️yes, I have that number correct…. 🙄
FYI even if protocol fee burns somehow quickly quadruples from 16.31M to 65.25M - High Burn then eating 261M treasury RSR a month - the clock is still ugly:
• ~11.9B takes 3.8 years
• 37.5B takes 12 years
That is why any result other than High Burn would look, to me, like someone inside the project putting a personal wallet ahead of holders. I do not think that is likely. The mood around $RSR’s price over the last few years makes the opposite hard to defend.
IMPORTANT
⚠️ Vote FOR Burn Gauge. Vote AGAINST the Milestone Plan. On both Snapshot proposals. Before they close 17 September.
⚠️ They are not a package. Quorum is 1B RSR on each vote, counted separately. If you vote on only one, you make it more likely that neither clears quorum.

My concerns about the @reserveprotocol Q2 Community Call as a long-term $RSR holder:
1. The overhang still exists, just delayed and conditional 👇
Unlocking up to 3B RSR (even with a price band) still adds a large potential supply that the market WILL PRICE IN. History shows that “unlocked but not sold” tokens create ongoing narrative pressure. People remember the 8.3B unlocked in 2025 that mostly stayed in treasury wallets (btw most of those should still be sitting there, right? So why another unlock starting at $0.005?).
Another 3B becoming eligible reinforces the feeling that a large controlled supply can still hit the market later. This will play an important role in price action simply because psychology works in certain ways that cannot be changed even with a reasonably explained “unlocking milestone plan”.
Price action with unlocks will be worse. Fact.

I would still prefer stronger safeguards:
• Clearer community approval requirements for spending large portions of the unlocked RSR
• A partial permanent burn of some treasury tokens alongside (or instead of) part of the unlock
• More defined future milestones so the path is less open-ended
• Stronger, more frequent, and independently verifiable reporting on treasury RSR positions and uses
$RSR community deserves better price action.
Thanks for reading about my concerns.
How do you feel about @reserveprotocol Q2 Community Call?
Sincere question.

Not just to criticize:
It is a clear improvement over the old system, but not ideal. The old Bitcoin-style continuous unlocking was worse because it released tokens regardless of progress and created constant dilution FUD. Tying further unlocks to actual net revenue is more rational and aligns incentives better. The price band and the fact that Nevin/Confusion Capital will abstain from the vote are positive signals. Pausing unlocks until a real milestone is hit is also respectful of holders.
6/
6. Only one milestone is defined 👇
Future milestones are left open. Flexibility is understandable, but it means we do not know the full long-term emission path. That reduces predictability and discourages potential new buyers.
7. Non-binding nature 👇
The proposal is carefully framed as a non-binding pledge (to avoid regulatory issues). That is pragmatic, but it also means there is limited hard commitment if priorities shift later.
5/
5. No meaningful supply reduction 👇
Many holders (me included) wanted a large permanent burn of treasury RSR (the 30B discussions - even smaller burns would demonstrate that price action for holders is still a topic). This plan explicitly rejects that path for now. The ongoing fee burns are positive but small relative to the remaining locked supply.
The decision prioritizes keeping dry powder over scarcity. In plain English - the protocol values its potential cash flow over holders’ potential cash flow.
4/
4. The price ceiling protects the project more than holders in a strong market 👇
If RSR is trading above $0.015 (30-day average), the unlock is capped at roughly $45M worth instead of the full 3B tokens. That reduces dilution when the token is stronger, which is good in theory, but it also means the project receives less RSR (or locks in a USD value) precisely when the token has more purchasing power. It can feel asymmetric.
3/
3. NARR can be debated and potentially managed 👇
$2.5M net annualized recurring revenue is presented as clear proof of product-market fit. In practice, “net” involves judgments about what counts as incentive spend, partner shares, one-off items, etc. There is room for interpretation. A metric that can be influenced creates uncertainty about whether the unlock is truly earned or partly engineered.
2/
2. Trust in how the unlocked RSR will actually be used 👇
The plan says the tokens will be deployed “strategically” over 1–2 years with quarterly reporting. That still leaves Confusion Capital with significant discretion on timing, size, and purpose of any sales or distributions. Past transparency around treasury operations has been limited. I would want clearer rules or community veto rights on large deployments, not just retrospective reports.
