Good morning @veefriends family. I don’t really like to post negative but something weighing on my mind that I need to get out. As many of you know I maxi Minokawa and most know my story. I am a breaker and don’t claim to be the best or showiest but I have fun and I think that’s the most important part. I know there has been much debate about what styles are best or the fairest but I won’t get into that now. I recently purchased my allotment of Shells Kitchen wholesale to break. I also got 6 from my NFT allocation. I am a huge collector and like to grade my comics like some of you do. Upon opening my first 6 of which 2 were Alt covers and 4 were base. Upon examining them they all have a flaw on the back top left corner that has an indention. This will definitely affect grading. I decided to open 50 of my allocation to see if it was on all of them and it indeed was on both base and alt covers. I also opened 20 Alt covers in a row. As a breaker I find it hard to sell these to my buyers. I did also open a shimmer and cracked ice and those don’t have the flaw so that confirms it is indeed a flaw. I will open all the rest live stream either tonight or tomorrow and will not be selling these base or alt covers. It will be interesting to see if 1. There is a shuffling issue which I think there is. 2. If the flaw is on the rest which I believe it will be. As much as I truly love Veefriends and what @garyvee is building I truly believe things can be better. We breakers are going to lose by not being able to sell these flawed comics unless we pretty much give them away. Also the new bags are durable and high quality but a pain to open and you do need good scissors and also all the paper in them is a massive waste. I have discussed this with fellow breakers and we all share the same concerns. As many if you don’t like rip and sells that is what will do to see what they look like before selling. This will also be my last comic break until I see it has been resolved. I understand other comic IPs have flaws but this is massive and thought some of it would be fixed as told to us after pulling comics off for 2 months. I’m sorry for the gripe post but breakers check your comics and buyers check especially NFT buyers.
