Their affection is unconditional, their presence is calming, and their acceptance asks nothing in return. chuffed.org/project/113327-r… On September 12, children from Al-Noor Center for the Blind and Deaf in Gaza visited our one-of-a-kind animal sanctuary for a special recreational day filled with touch, movement, stimulation, laughter, and joy. For children living through so much uncertainty, moments like these matter. Interacting with animals can offer comfort, build confidence, encourage sensory exploration, and create a safe space simply to play and feel free. Sometimes healing looks like medicine or therapy. Sometimes it looks like a child laughing while an animal gently comes close, offering love without judgment or expectation.
