The correct punishment for Man City:
• Removed from the Premier League and EFL and placed in the highest non-league division willing to accept them.
• Stripped of every trophy won during the relevant period.
• Proceeds from inevitable player sales used first to compensate staff who lose their jobs, then clubs denied trophies, European places and league positions.
• The current ownership removed and banned from English football. If the allegations are proven, they clearly cannot meet any credible fit-and-proper ownership test.
Anything less would make a mockery of the rules.

When I was there with my son last week at the Brighton game, a guy behind me was repeatedly asking the same question and it’s gotta be said he’s right.
The question was very simple. What the hell do these guys do in training?
🚨Manchester United have had 47 corners in our first 7 games — and the threat from them has been basically ZERO. Last season, we scored 19 goals from set-pieces, second only to Arsenal (23).
Casemiro was a HUGE part of our set-piece threat, and we’re missing him badly. Now opponents double up on Harry Maguire, basically our only real threat in the box.
We need other players to step up, attack the ball and actually make our corners count.
