Joel Embiid: "I told Tyrese after the game, we've been going against these guys for the last couple years, but tonight felt a little different than the past."
Why it felt different?
"I think just we have the talent. ... I think a lot of it falls on me. I put it on me. If I want to be All-Defense like I used to be, that changes everything for our team. So if I can play that way every single night, which I will, changes everything."

Two weeks ago I pointed out the Eagles did not attempt a straight drop back pass from under center. Defenses know any time the Eagles are under center they are either running or running PA. This allows the defense to blitz without fear of getting beat by a quick pass.
3 weeks later the Eagles still have not attempted a straight drop back from under center. The Panthers have (predictably) blitzed every time the Eagles are under center. How has the coaching staff not figured this tell out yet and adjusted?

Very sorry to the national media / WIP that the Eagles do in fact have a coaching problem right now, not a QB one.

Nick Sirianni says there are no plans for the Eagles to bench Cam Jurgens.
"I'm pleased with where Cam is. [...] Cam is definitely doing good things. Like us all, have to be more consistent as well."

Joel Embiid on Lebron saying he came to Philly to help him win his first ring:
"To have him say that it kind of validates not so much what I've accomplished but the way my peers might think about me. I'm at the point of my career where I need to win. Between everything that's happened, that would be a good ending for the city of Philadelphia. And they deserve it"
