Here's a cool edit of a jump we did a few years ago from a Skyvan here in Alberta, I'm in the blue helmet. What a great jump, didn't think we'd pull it off but it went perfectly, even ended up in the raft for a bit lol:

A few years ago, these people said we were in a post-national state and that there was no “Canada.”
They tore down statues and cheered.
They burnt down churches and cheered.
They demonized great Canadians who built Canada and cheered.
They turned on fellow citizens and cheered.
Don’t believe a word they say.

You know that magical moment when you’ve spent an hour getting absolutely nowhere with your cellphone company, and finally say, “Fine. Cancel it.”
Suddenly, you’re transferred to Retention.
Well, hello there.
Same customer. Same complaints. Same company. Yet somehow there are options available that apparently didn’t exist five minutes ago.
Ah. So the options did exist.
What changed?
Not your complaint. Their certainty that you were staying.
And that may be the simplest way to understand the leverage argument behind Option 2.
Alberta has spent decades raising concerns, negotiating, demanding changes and sending different governments to Ottawa. But underneath all of it has been one rather comfortable assumption:
Alberta will stay.
Option 2 puts a question mark beside that assumption.
It doesn’t mean Alberta leaves the next morning. It keeps open the possibility of a future referendum, and with that comes a different conversation.
Instead of endlessly asking Alberta, “Are you really willing to leave?”
Perhaps Canada finally has to contemplate another question:
“What are we willing to change to give Alberta a reason to stay?”
Maybe there’s an offer worth considering. Maybe there isn’t.
But negotiations look different when both sides know you can walk away.
Alberta, please hold.
Retention is on the line.
Was out hunting in the west country and found a bunch of garbage. Looks like a group had a picnic and target shooting outing and left their garbage.

Let's identify these thieves in Innisfail, Alberta!
The town isn't that big. Somebody will recognize them. Share this video and let's bring this thievery to an end!
Playing garage darts last night with @ANasholm and this happened, not sure how to score it. 🤔
Made this model of a C-130 Hercules for my Dad years ago,he was a RCAF pilot with over 7000 hours on the Herc. SAR and TAL pilot. The model is made of 4"pipe and 1/4"plate with a 4.5'wingspan. it was mounted on a pole at their old house but their new HOA wont let them display it.
Feeling blessed. Went for a hike with my daughter and gave my son a vehicle for his 16th birthday. Both are really great kids!
Was getting rid of some recycling at the Red Deer landfill and this caught my eye. It looks like a survey chart from Sylvan Lake Alverta (Snake Lake) from 1910 or so. Would be nice to see where this is now! Anyone have an idea? Ill be able to dig deeper a bit later!
Replying to @AlbertaLeonidas
Modern politics is no longer a system for solving problems, it is instead a stage to deceive us into thinking we are participating.
This is why speeches feel emotional and change nothing.
This is why scandals cycle endlessly through the news, with no consequence.
IF modern politics were really about results, it wouldn't demand an audience.
They want us divided and conquered.
They play on our fear and the tribalism in our DNA. The worst part is that both status quo parties are responsible for destroying Canada over the last 50 years and I or anyone willing to research that, can easily prove it.
Yet everyone still waves their blue or red flags proudly. Distracted and meek, just as they devised.
Voting in Canada, is the illusion of choice, the candidates are hand picked by the parties before the election is even in swing, some conservatives are also failed liberals.
It is not red vs blue, it is us versus the parasitic class. Our system is corrupt to the core. Elections Canada corrupt as the justice system overseeing it, appointed by the government.
The big tent parties pretend they are political polar opposites, when they are in fact next door neighbors, serving the crown and never the electorate.
Time to rip it down and build something for the people, not for their greed and control.
The true sign of oppression, is when those being oppressed, turn against each other, as opposed to their oppressors.
