This is a good place to look, but an investigation is not the same as legislation ending the J-1 program or punishing the institution doing this. Again, there's nothing of substance here they're just saying words to trick you into voting their way.

"Thanks to an ongoing investigation, we have decided to suspend the PERM program for Microsoft, which means they will no longer be able to take those H-1Bs and apply for permanent resident status within the United States of America. Now our message to Microsoft and to any other foreign or domestic corporation is quite simple. We obviously want you to thrive in the United States of America. We want people to invest in the United States of America, particularly the American technology sector. We’re the biggest boosters of your industry. If this administration were serious, they would turn off the H1B program entirely for the worst offenders. And it's not Microsoft that is the worst. It is Amazon and Bezos. But they are not serious, and this is just a token action to try to buy votes.
The GOP will fool some but not most people under 55. We see your desperation. Throwing money at voters via Trump accounts (socialism) and suspending a few employers from the Permanent Residency Program (easily reversed) will not buy enough votes for the GOP to win in November.
The Permanent Residency Program suspension and the recent campaign speeches by Vance and Rubio are too little too late. After burning all political capital built over the last 11 years the GOP is making Hail-Mary EO actions that can be easily reversed, not permanently changing policy via laws.

**Medical Tuesday.**
Truckers contest foreign replacement because they compete for the same freight. Graduates in science and engineering contest the H-1B because they compete for the same positions.
Physicians, once established, rarely contest the training visa. A doctor who already has a panel of patients, a hospital contract, and a referral base is not bidding against a newly arrived physician for that practice. The loss falls on the graduate who never obtained a residency, and on the new physician who has not yet built a practice of his own.
That is why the trucking associations are vocal and the medical societies are quiet. The American Medical Association maintains a section whose stated purpose is to clear the route for foreign-trained physicians. The physicians already inside the profession are not the ones bearing the cost of the 1997 residency freeze.
The contest is real. It belongs to those who have not yet been admitted.

The Department of Justice has released a comprehensive report detailing how the Biden administration weaponized government to silence parents from speaking out about atrocities happening in schools.
The FBI investigated a mother because she belonged to a “right-wing mom’s group” and “is a gun owner” and a father because “he railed against the government.”
Parents were labeled as “domestic terrorists” or “violent protestors” for voicing objections at their local school board meeting about COVID-19 restrictions, transgender ideology, Critical Race Theory in curriculums, and DEI policies implemented in their districts, according to the report.
