I honestly wouldn't be shocked if the Mets moved on from Mauricio this offseason. The talent is obviously there, but being out of options makes things complicated
I still believe the potential we saw when he was a prospect is there, I just don't know where he fits on this roster anymore

Per Zack: The Mets called the Guardians after their August series and suggested they adjust their PitchCom decibel levels.
It wasn't the smoothest ride, but the Guardians saved their best baseball for the end.
For a third consecutive season, the Guardians are AL Central champions. They earned a first-round bye and will host Game 1 of the ALDS next Saturday.

Imagine if the Mets never traded PCA and kept Pete Alonso 👀🔥
Pete Alonso AND Pete Crow-Armstrong in the same lineup would’ve been RIDICULOUS
PCA in 2026:
.280 AVG | .948 OPS
45 HR | 40 SB | 107 RBI
9.8 WAR
Add that to Alonso and the rest of this Mets core... what could’ve been 💔

Pete Crow-Armstrong is in a league of his own defensively right now 🧤
Most OAA among MLB center fielders:
Pete Crow-Armstrong (+25)
Ceddanne Rafaela (+15)
Michael Harris II (+12)
Cedric Mullins (+11)
Jacob Young (+11)
PCA has a DOUBLE-DIGIT lead over everyone else
Is he the best defensive CF in baseball?

That’s strange. I was in the dugout pre game on Monday with a guy that looked like Stearns. Was it an imposter?

The Mets’ plan to replace Pete Alonso with Jorge Polanco could not have gone much worse
Jorge Polanco:
37 G | 2 HR | 6 RBI | .148 AVG | .431 OPS | -1.4 WAR
Pete Alonso:
152 G | 36 HR | 101 RBI | .267 AVG | .861 OPS | 4.1 WAR
Don't worry Stearns, I can TOTALLY see the vision 😭
