So they got Russell Brand in no time for sexual crimes and will be "sentenced for a lengthy time" yet thousands of Muslim Pakistani rapists running Grooming Gangs with tens of thousands of victims and 250,000+ cases of rape over 40+ years hasn't seen nearly as much effort. If Brand did really do this then it's fair justice but, he was fast tracked to conviction heavily because he is White, British and a Man. Different outcome if he was Muslim or an Immigrant.

🚨 Russell Brand is sitting in a cell tonight over claims from up to 22 years ago.
Look at what actually happened.
He faced 7 charges from six women, dating back as far as 1999.
The jury threw out three of them, including two of the three rape counts.
He denied every single one.
What's left are accounts from 2004 to 2009 that nobody took to police at the time.
How does anyone defend themselves against a night from two decades ago?
Memories fade, witnesses scatter, and texts and records disappear.
It ends up being one person's word against another's, in front of a jury that already knows him as the guy the media spent years tearing apart.
And this started only AFTER Brand left the mainstream, started questioning the establishment, and built a huge independent audience.
Coincidence?
If this can happen to him, it can happen to anyone the system decides it doesn't like.
He deserves a full appeal. 🇺🇸

None have been convicted. Her father stood as Restore Britain’s candidate for Greater Manchester mayor.
There was no national outrage, no wave of arrests, and no accountability.
Russell Brand, by contrast, is facing the full force of the justice system over an allegation involving touching a woman’s breast 15 years ago. If the evidence shows he is a predator, he should be punished.
That is how a functioning system works.
The same system has produced nothing for Scarlett. The men who systematically raped and trafficked her as a child remain free.
This is not an isolated failure. It is a pattern in which certain offenders are pursued relentlessly while others walk amongst us.
Where are the 60 Muslim men who raped a child?

Mia riflessione personale.
Continuano a ripetere la stessa domanda da anni: “Se la Russia è così forte, perché non ha ancora vinto in Ucraina?”
E subito dopo tirano fuori la conclusione che gli fa comodo: allora è debole, allora basta ancora più armi a Zelensky e l’Ucraina vince. È il copione di Meloni, del PD, di Guerini e di tutta l’élite atlantista.
Partono da un presupposto sbagliato.
Se “vincere” significasse radere al suolo l’Ucraina, Mosca avrebbe potuto farlo il primo giorno. Un Sarmat su Kiev, o un Oreshnik, e la guerra finisce in pochi minuti. Colpire ogni grande città ucraina è perfettamente alla sua portata. Credete davvero che Washington, Londra o Bruxelles si farebbero cancellare per difendere Zelensky? No.
Allora perché non lo fa?
Perché per la Russia quella non sarebbe una vittoria. Sarebbe una sconfitta storica e irreversibile.
La Russia nasce dalla Rus’ di Kiev che stava in quella che oggi è l'Ucraina.
Un russo su tre ha sangue, parenti, radici e ricordi lì.
Non è l’Iraq per gli americani. Non è la Libia per la NATO.
È casa.
Per questo non ha nemmeno distrutto tutti i ponti sul Dnepr. Potrebbe farlo in una notte.
Non lo fa.
Non applica la dottrina americana dello shock and awe: radere al suolo tutto, civili, ospedali, infrastrutture, senza lasciare niente in piedi.
Gli Stati Uniti lo fanno sempre, ma sempre lontano da casa loro.
La Russia non sta combattendo per annientare l’Ucraina.
Sta combattendo per non perderla.
E qui finisce la prudenza.
Putin, Lavrov, Peskov e Medvedev l’hanno detto chiaro più volte: se un Paese europeo attacca direttamente la Russia, la risposta di Mosca sarebbe senza esitazione e senza pietà.
Perché noi non siamo l’Ucraina.

You are fundamentally conflating two entirely different concepts under international law: sovereignty and militarization. Greece’s sovereignty over its islands was settled permanently and unconditionally by the Treaties of Lausanne (1923) and Paris (1947). No technical provision on militarization can ever alter or challenge that sovereignty. Even if a state disputes a treaty's terms, international law never grants an automatic right to threaten or invade.
Since you claim to speak as an expert on international law, let me remind you of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter, which strictly prohibits the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity of any state. Turkey's official Casus Belli against Greece is a textbook violation of this very article.
Furthermore, under Article 51 of the UN Charter, every nation has an inherent right to self-defense. Following the 1974 invasion of Cyprus, the creation of the massive Turkish "Army of the Aegean" right across our shores, and constant airspace violations, Greece has a legal right and a sovereign duty to prepare its defenses against a visible, documented threat. The UN Charter explicitly supersedes any older, conditional treaty clauses.
But since my field of expertise is Prehistoric Archaeology and the Minoan civilization, I must admit I find this fascinating. I spend my days excavating Bronze Age palaces and studying how ancient cultures evolved over thousands of years. It seems, however, that your geopolitical mindset is stuck somewhere even further back in the Stone Age, where international law is replaced by brute force.

W Polsce protesty antyrządowe przed Trybunałem Konstytucyjnym trwają kolejny dzień. Prezydent dał dla premiera Tuska czas do 11 listopada na podanie się do dymisji. Policja odmówiła spacyfikowania protestujących siłą na wezwanie puczystowskiej sędzi Trybunału Konstytucyjnego. Rząd rozpoczął prześladowanie buntujących się policjantów w tym przewodniczącego związku zawodowego Policji. W stolicy pojawiły się patrole z bronią automatyczną a na drogach szybkiego ruchu coraz więcej obcych wojsk.
To wszystko wydarzyło się od wczoraj.
Siedem dni to dnia z ultimatum prezydenta, kiedy rozpęta się piekło. Pilnujcie razem z nami aby nie ukradli nam wolności. Wasze wsparcie jest dla nas bardzo ważne.
