- Umbra has built Nimbus, a multi-chain privacy network powered by ZK.
- 5 second private transfers, 10-12 second private swaps, about 2x faster than NEAR Intents.
- Three guardian nodes run in AWS Nitro enclaves on Turnkey's Verifiable Cloud and co-sign transactions alongside three other attesters.
- Nimbus’s growth is owned by UMBRA. Nimbus will have no separate token. Eligible protocol fees from both the application and the network accrue to the same UMBRA-governed business.
- Nimbus has a head start in the quantum race. Its recipient notes use ML-KEM-768, a lattice-based key encapsulation mechanism, together with AES-256-GCM encryption, protecting financial records against future quantum decryption.
- Robinhood’s solution for auditable privacy. Tokenized finance needs confidentiality alongside accountable records. Nimbus could supply that capability beneath trading, treasury, and payments products whose users expect both.
Would highly recommend giving this a full read, the best piece of work we have ever put out, and an interesting inflection point in the market.

only the deposit transaction was showing onchain, while other transactions are kept private. definetly what it was built for

i'm not a whale and i'm not a target. my bag is mostly ownership coins, and my wallet is still nobody's business. but this is not how ownership should feel.
income, holds, side wallets, p2p. one solscan search links all of it, and AI makes that search take seconds now.
people with real money face this at a much bigger scale. they pay salaries instead of receiving them, join auctions and OTC deals, and i bet some skip deals entirely because the project announces it and the trail leads straight to their wallet.
today i shielded my entire bag in under 5 minutes. first time everything sits in one place and onchain nobody sees it.
it's about time to see things start to change for the better with tools like @UmbraPrivacy

If it wasn’t obvious let me make it clear there will never be a second token. $UMBRA is the only token and the surface area of what it captures just got much bigger with @NimbusPrivacy

I would rather quit umbra and nuke my tokens to hades before i let umbra have a second token. There aren’t any teams (i can assure you) that are as committed to a single token no equity and public ownership/accountability/transparency as we are. I spent my reputation vouching for this model so much so that i am now focused on setting the standard on the otherside
Umbra will be the only token for umbra and nimbus

For those who think $46M "is cheap"
Look at @UmbraPrivacy
Unlike $MASK, nobody can see your balance:
- Your balance is encrypted, you hold the key
- Built on @Arcium MPC, split across many nodes
- Their docs: "not Umbra, not Arcium, not Solana validators" can read it
- Privacy holds if just 1 node is honest
$UMBRA: $5.7M mcap, $372K in the pool
$MASK: $46M mcap, $60K in the pool

What you need to know about $MASK before buying/using:
I don't see it higher:
1/ Nullmask team sees everything
- Their servers hold your account keys
- They see your private balance and full history
- Private from the chain, not from Nullmask itself
2/ They control the pool
- Every deposit and withdrawal is checked and can be refused
- Contracts can be upgraded and paused, fees can change (without you knowing itt)
- 0 audits (I would think before connect my wallet)
3/ The pool is tiny
- $47M mcap
- Only $60K sitting in the privacy pool
- Their own rules: if you alone in the pool = 100% linkable
4/ Most revenue is $MASK paying $MASK
- $982K total revenue
- $734K (75%) is ZEC the dev wallet gets from $MASK holder rewards
- Only $247K from actual privacy fees (still good I think)
Compare to $ZEC:
- $19.4B mcap, $5.8B shielded
- Your keys stay on your device, nobody sees your balance, ZEC fnd has no control
For me it's a privacy narrative for "memecoin", not a "real privacy product"
