Fresh Hot CSS: Trig Functions

Today’s topic is Trig Functions. I feel like Trig Functions don’t get a lot of love because nobody seems to know what you would actually use them for. I don’t get to go over it in the talk very much....

Junior Dev Tip: "Scroll Up"

My junior developer just came to me asking for help because their linting setup was broken. I’m writing this very quickly because I want to get all the details down.

Replying to @Delta
@Delta update: the delta app deleted everyone's boarding passes because it's been... 12 hours? Or maybe because many of us got standby tickets for a different flight just in case. Anyway. I have many complaints.

Whatever I'm finally on a plane.

Update to @Delta saga, the gate agent just brought out a giant thing of snacks and told us our pilot and crew are on the way and will be landing at 11:22pm and they are on the way. Cheers from everyone.

Dear @Delta, good job giving out 4 $12 vouchers for food that can't be redeemed since the kiosks at O'Hare can't split up payment between the 4 vouchers. This is extremely disappointing to not have any support after being told that out flight is delayed 11 hours.

Grid First, Flex Third

I’ve been mulling this topic for months now, and I’m pretty firmly of the opinion if you are attempting to do some layout in CSS, you should reach for display:grid first, followed by display:block,...

Alright friends, I'm looking for good advanced typescript resources. I'm not looking to implement doom or anything like that in typescript types, but I need to further my understanding of really weird complex types.

Dear @Delta and @JFKairport I'm about to pee in the seat of your plane since we have been sitting on the runway now for about 30 minutes, and the flight attendant just reminded all of of that going to the restroom right now will cause us to lose our place in line.

That is to say, we are waiting for our gate at @JFKairport and many of us have very full bladders.

This just in, all clocks banned for not having AI features. Yes this is a subtweet.

I know a huge number of people in their 60s and 70s with one grandchild at most. Many with zero. These people had 3-4 kids of their own, and they assumed their kids would do the same. They planned for 10-15 grandkids at this age. Not for me to judge, but it’s sad to see.
