when did you first realize that Elon was a grifter?
for me, it was the “verbal government approval” of a hyperloop back in 2017

The US government paid for the wall with money from Americans and then also collected tariff payments from Americans.
Trump: Mexico did pay for the wall… because I charged them tariffs
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
US importers, not Mexico, pay tariffs on goods from Mexico. The border wall was funded by US federal appropriations, with Mexico contributing nothing.

1) This Biden thing never happened. There was a hoax viral video in 2020 in which someone edited a sign to make it look like Biden was in Florida when he greeted Minnesota. But the actual sign said MN.
2) Since the point of this Trump commentary is that he is cognitively superior: Xi visited three weeks ago, not last week.
Whoa, someone developed a spine on their way out the door

An American citizen joins the military.
He tries to enroll his wife, who is undocumented and came to America when she was six, in a program that allows close relatives of service members to stay.
The wife shows up to join the program with her four kids, and is arrested by ICE.
This is why elections matter. We are ruled by cruel, sadistic people.

Okay, so it's just compressed air.
Easier.
But crappy specific impulse (less than 50 seconds).
Even assuming that 50% of the mass of the car is the compressed air, that gives you less than 10s of useful thrust (with thrust-to-weight ratio larger than 1.0). Probably more like 5 seconds, actually.
So the car must be an empty, lightweight shell containing big compressed air tanks.
Cute demo, but totally impractical.
But of course, you knew that.
As we Thalaivar fans often say, he is the record maker and the record breaker. Feels soooooo good to see the movie being celebrated by everyone around. As a Thalaivar fan, I am just soaking all of it in that I haven't even watched it a 2nd time yet. Planning it on Sunday

I'm not an Elon hater.
I'm just telling you the Honest Truth:
This is a marketing stunt.
The technology is quite old.
Just nobody ever thought of bolting it on a car.
Because it's pointless.
Porsche or Ferrari could also build something like this if they wanted, but they don't, because it's not worth it for them.
It's worth it for Elon though, because his entire brand is all about having the halo of futurism.
His marketing scales especially well with tech gimmicks like this, which is why he is financially incentivised to do them, while others aren't.
Again, I'm not hating, but actually educating yall.
This is not engineering genius.
It's marketing genius.
Yes, we certainly do! He is super tentative, takes sacks when he should just be throwing the ball away and not seeing open receivers on critical downs. Textbook definition of bad QB play! #GoHawks
As much as I love seeing Thalaivar's next film's director enjoying Jailer 2, I don't want him to be influenced even a wee bit by how Nelson has showcased Thalaivar. I want him to bring his unique style & taste in film-making to Dharman. And we, the fans, will be ready for it
