And here we are ten years later, nothing has changed. Prediction: academic publishing will be the very last market sector improved by AI.
As long as submitters keep doing the painful work of aliquotting author data into thousands of fields at submission time, publishers have exactly zero incentive to fix this ridiculous system. #teamScience #openScience

A decade later and we are STILL waiting on this. Come on Zenodo. It is not that hard to fix. I even gave you a roadmap.

Not good.
Outage: Zenodo is unavailable right now due to a connectivity issue in the CERN data centre. Data centre operators are in process of restoring connectivity to services. ETA currently unknown.

If you work in a Clinical Genetics department that recruited to the 100k Genome Project I *highly* recommend encouraging one of your clinical genetics trainees to review the top 5 exomiser results in your undiagnosed patients (particularly the trios). – at Belfast, Northern Ireland

Hello twitterverse. I'm breaking my silence for a very important reason - please support our open science work. It is an honor to be finalists, but would be even better to be able to get the 500K to continue doing this amazing work :)

As I am (again) neck deep in thorny retrospective data reconciliation of spreadsheets I didn't create, I'm boosting this oldie but a goodie resource by @kara_woo and @kwbroman because too few people understand how much hassle can be spared by getting right - from the start.

I'd personally be happy to pay like $200/year more in federal taxes if they could just make the eRA commons login actually work. Sending my grant reviews by a pigeon seems easier at this point.
