Can someone please tell me what happens if an @NDIS participant exhausts their Core funding and has been denied an early plan review multiple times?

Medical staff to me a wheelchair user:
“You seem to be resisting the acceptance of your limits.”
Me: “What I am resisting is you or any other person setting limits for me without even knowing me.”
Disabled people, not others, set our own limits.

Hospital staffer: “We’re going to keep your wheelchair out in the hallway.”
Me: “No. I need it at bedside. I never let it out of my sight.”
Staffer: “Sorry. It’s protocol.”
Me: “I don’t care about protocol. It stays here.”
Don’t ever separate a wheelchair from a wheelchair user.

I wholeheartedly agree that Disability segregation must end. My time in special school in the 1980s almost destroyed my mental health and self-esteem. I am finally working on getting open employment.

Always remember, never ever take your health for granted. #MaskUp
Disabled people belong in the world.
We have the right to stay safe, use public facilities, and unapologetically take up space, just like the rest of you.

It is not acceptable that the Federal government has decided to effectively cut the NDIS in half.
And so, we fight.
This will be a fight of epic proportions. But we are many, and we vote. As do our family and supporters, as well as our workers.
Bring it on. We are up for this.

In Australia
It is legal and common to pay disabled people under $5 an hour.
And those working within what is effectively our domestic slave trade are rewarded for wage injustice and exploitation.
This is not okay.
There is no public outcry.
That’s not okay either.

Bravo @colonelkurtz99, but so called pro life activists usually only care about themselves. – at Melbourne, Victoria
By any criteria, the animals we torture and kill for food have much greater self-awareness, cognition, and pain sensitivity than a fetus.
I therefore look forward to pro-life activists pressing for improved conditions on factory farms and vegetarianism

I hope Johnny Depp just does movies under his own production company Infinitum and not with any of these Major production companies like Warner Brothers or Disney. None of them stood by him, he should now show them how he can stand alone with us and without them. #JohnnyDeppWins
