Norm could spot a killer before the audience did
Watching Norm Macdonald and David Spade revisit their SNL days, I got stuck on something Norm said about Dana Carvey.
Before Carvey performed his old-man character, Norm thought the idea was weak. Carvey basically told him to watch what happened next.
Then he destroyed.
And as he walked away, he leaned over and told Norm to go f*** himself.
To me, that’s the perfect comedy story: one comedian knows the idea looks ridiculous, the other knows exactly what he can do with it. 😂

The big thing Carney can teach the world is that whipping up nationalism and hatred of another country and its people is a good way to win votes. Because it’s Trump’s America, that’s seen as fine, but we should still be honest that this is the core of his political success.
Smaller countries need to prepare for a dangerous world. They should look to Canada (and its prime minister) for an answer on what to do bit.ly/4zwKfVg

Che would’ve confiscated that phone 😆
The man on her shirt ran the firing squads at La Cabaña prison in 1959. Then he ran Cuba’s central bank and nationalized everything he could get his hands on.
Sixty years later, Cubans still live on a government ration book.
When Fidel Castro died in 2016, Justin Trudeau called him a “remarkable leader.”
Socialism looks great on a T-shirt.
It never came with an iPhone.
