Slowly returning to being active with posting art after so long but given the state of this site I'll most likely be more active on bsky!! ☁️💙

To younger artists giving unsolicited criticism requoting other younger artists art: we have repeated this hundred times already, but it doesn't make you look good, and bigger names will see your post and you'll have little to 0 chance to work in this field in the future

Seeing aspiring artists attack a well respected and established illustrator is doing so much harm to their careers and they don’t even know.
Being a good artist is half the job.
Being someone people want to work with is the other half.
When those who hire see you tearing down other artists for their prices and then accusing them of AI, we blacklist you. You reveal your red flags.
Art is a community. Tearing down others is not how you get ahead. In life or art.

People need to understand many professional artists do not list their services for private clients, many of us work for corporations only. Recruiters and artdirectors look on socialmedia, many of us get jobs this way. Not everything is for you, assuming it is is the first mistake
