Yet another reason to keep kids and ad $ off TikTok
Anti-Israel content is dominating on TikTok among 18-24 year-olds: 447MM views vs 16.5MM views in the last 30 days
The top anti-Israel hashtag on TikTok is #freepalestine, and the top pro-Israel hashtag is #standwithisrael.

Seems very plausible that this is a major driver of the Harvard Caps Harris poll result that showed 51% of 18-24 year olds believe Hamas's massacre of 1200+ Israeli civilians could be justified by the grievances of the Palestinians.
Please tell me this isn’t real @Stanford

Within this thread the author references nuclear as an analogy, but does so the wrong way. In the US if you want to do anything with Nuclear it goes through the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). We emphatically need an AI Regulatory Commission!
It's obvious to many besides just @ESYudkowsky how many different dangers AI presents. Even if it's just the human misuse of AI, let along AGI taking on a life of it's own. We are putting society at risk by not agreeing to an AIRC right away.
We should never ever creat true AGI. It’s likely too late to stop the progress, but the risks are beyond our own comprehension.

What’s going on? This is actually irresponsible of @nytimes . Yet again, where has common sense gone?
I am getting emotional listening to this.
@nytimes reporters - with zero pushback - saying that obesity is genetic and 40% of 12 year olds should be on drugs or surgery.
These are pharma talking points.
There is a war happening here. And children are losing
