How to use Twitter in 2023:
1. Follow people who make the world better with their honesty, hopefulness, kindness, and sincerity.
2. Cheer them on as they earnestly share their stuff (experiences, insights, daily life and work).
3. Share some of your own stuff.
For those of you that don't want to lose all your Tweets once you stop using Twitter. You can now import them, backdated, to Bluesky.

If you have published work online then please make sure you have PDF versions of your work saved for future reference. Don't rely on publications and websites staying up forever. Or wayback machine or other archives. Archive your work.
Last day in the Japanese Alps. Watching Copa America. Chile versus Argentina. Commentary is in Japanese but I'm yelling at the TV in Spanish.
Not on this platform much. But a few updates of there are any active users left here.
Back in Japan for a few days. Been up in the mountains. Lovely weather. Heading to Tokyo at the end of the week.
Hopefully getting a haircut soon.

Another big personal milestone that I decided not to mention on Twitter because it doesn't feel worth navigating the snark or reply guys.
I don't really know anymore how bad things are here. I can't tell. But, Twitter feels associated with bad faith replies now.
Men often have trouble making deep friendships. Here I explore why that might be.

I have a new essay in the latest edition of Writerly Magazine. It's a joy to have my words in such a carefully crafted literary journal.
