The part that compounds:
/evolve - captures new patterns after each feature
/reflect - structured session log, searchable
/sync-knowledge - reconciles docs against reality
Sessions don't restart from zero. Every session builds on the last.
The part most people skip: hooks.
PreToolUse guard blocks UPDATE/DELETE/TRUNCATE on event-sourced tables unconditionally.
The architecture is append-only. That's not a guideline. It's enforced at the tool level. The model cannot violate it.
I have 4 domain-specialist agents:
/code-agent - reads patterns.md before writing anything
/architect-agent - validates layer rules and ADR compliance
/qa-agent - 4-tier test pyramid
/data-agent - enforces append-only invariants

Most people use Claude Code like a smart autocomplete.
The problem: every session starts from scratch. The model doesn't know your patterns, your decisions, your constraints.
The fix isn't better prompts. It's architecture.
