For those kids that didn't hear their names called today... Our scouts job is to now find YOU! Just like they did Micheal Ferland and Matt Calvert, who went undrafted in the WHL and went onto NHL careers. #KeepPushing

Micheal and Kayleigh Ferland have teamed up with Tony and Brittany Vasilarakis of @pizzaexpressbdn to purchase 8 #BWK Season Tickets to be given to families involved with @KidSportMB! Ferland benefited from the KidSport Program growing up and is now a member of the @Canucks!

Meet Brady Keeper, the first kid from Cross Lake, Manitoba to make it to the #NHL. His story is incredible - from MJHL to NHL in two years. He almost quit. Now he's a beacon of hope for a generation of indigenous youth in 🇨🇦 that desperately need one: tsn.ca/keeper-s-improbable-n… #TSN

Very well said! Players such as @CP0031 @ferdaddy27 @Jtootoo22 to name only a few, are huge influences in paving the way for Indigenous youth to one day play in the @NHL. With hard work and a mindset, it can be done.
