fanfic is “uncritiquable” [sic] in the way you shouldn’t go up to someone who is knitting a scarf for their friend to be like “ugh that stitch is so overused. craft crisis much?”

this mass psychosis that fanfic is an uncritiquable art form is a symptom of the literacy crisis don’t ask me how i just feel it

idk if this is bait but: ellipsus and all of its essential features are totally, fully free. premium gives you stuff like writing insights and custom themes, and that’s really it. plus, if you do get premium, it’s pay once to own forever, not subscription+

꒰ ◎ dia ✩ MIKU EXPO 2026 ꒱@starloid_Aug 7

and why is libreoffice, a program which runs locally on ur computer, ranked lower than ellipsus, a cloud-based program pushing people to pay for premium???? xitter.cf/wwxwashere/status/2085…

you can pay once or in installments to get premium FOREVER. “pushing people to pay for premium” is an exaggeration and tbh annoying to hear when ellipsus is one of the few transparently anti ai writing softwares out there.
