Halsey isn't criticizing him "over a bad review." The review came out 2 years ago. Even as inappropriate as the review was, she stayed quiet. She's responding to him coming online, 2 years later, and taking a shot at her.
That's not the behavior or a legitimate music critic.

Anthony Fantano calls himself "the most relevant and impactful music critic” in response to Halsey (via Variety):
“I don’t have to prove my track record to Halsey. I have been the most relevant and impactful music critic of my — and any — generation for over 10 years now. You can’t really debate that. halsey’s point was never “you have to like my album,” it was “stop treating my medical trauma like evidence of a character flaw”. she wasn't asking to be spared criticism, she was asking not to be told that speaking about her own illness and fear of dying is somehow narcissistic.

🚨 Videos don’t lie.
So here is slow-motion footage shows ICE agents illegally detaining a U.S. citizen in Minneapolis… and shooting her as she tries to drive away.
Watch closely: she never drove toward an agent.
The agents attempted to aggressively force her out of her car illegally, even though she wasn’t blocking traffic… in fact, she was letting cars pass.
When she reversed to avoid them, she turned her wheels away from the agent in front of her.
One agent then leaned over the front of her car with his gun drawn… he begins slipping on ice as she tries to drive forward, possibly being the cause of the first shot being fired.
• First shot: fired while his feet were on the side of her car, slipping on ice.
• Second shot: fired when the car was nowhere near him.
• Final shot: fired as she was already driving away.
She never tried to hit anyone. She was turning away the entire time.
They shot her because she was trying to drive away from an unlawful detention.
And this isn’t the first time ICE has used deadly force against someone simply for drive away.
It’s just the first time we have video evidence. This is why filming ICE is crucial… and why they don’t want you to.
This abuse has to end, now.
How many more people will have to die before the government stops ICE from illegally detaining, assaulting, and shooting U.S. citizens?
