The acting and storylines are still corny but tbf it’s a kids show so maybe i’m being too harsh, younger viewers will probably love it. i just think if they want these kids to have music careers like the og cast, giving them actual creative control would make SUCH a difference.

What made the og victorious so good was the creative input. leon thomas was writing hits like “song 2 you” at 14 😭 you could FEEL the authenticity. this new cast has talent and chemistry but they need creative freedom, not just scripts and songs handed to them. let these kids COOK!

I gave hollywood arts a chance and tapped out after 5 episodes but the cast is genuinely talented, they can ALL sing. my issue is the music sounding so ai-generated and inauthentic. if there’s a s2, let these kids pick up a pen instead of having 40yos producers/writers guess what “gen z” sounds like
