Somehow this is incredible and depressing at the same time. The Matrix (1999)
We placed the fruit fly brain inside Odyssey-3, a frontier world model. The lil’ guy is now flying around totally imagined, simulated worlds all by itself 🫶

Steve Jobs favorite quote
The way Steve taught us to care about every detail, every experience, every person, still guides our work today. Forever grateful.

stop blaming GitHub there are ~180M accounts pushing an ungodly amount of pure, industrial-grade slop every day, just picture the combined storage + egress!! the platform is carrying humanity’s collective unfinished side-projects. show some respect

“The complainer is preparing to lose by building up excuses in advance. I don’t want to be that kind of golfer, and you shouldn’t either” Raymond Floyd’s wise words. Replace golfer with human outside the course and be a better person everyday with a perspective shift

Lovely Sunday golf today testing out the open source app I built. Took some notes to improve the app, and also my game… Messed up the front pretty early in the round Yardages calculated by the app were great. I have only myself to blame

Also: Funny my iOS app is 810 kb thanks to Hotwire Native. Top 5 apps under “golf rangefinder” in the AppStore are 100-250 mb in size Version 1.1 is in TestFlight but those fixes will be public soon No native Android but the site is a PWA so 🤷🏻‍♂️ apps.apple.com/cr/app/grind-…

Hope to finish a blog post about the tech behind it soon too. It’s all on GitHub. Fun weekend (literally) project
