Some exciting news! I've been nominated for the Mentor & Champion Award by the Women in Technology: Hollywood Foundation, recognizing more than two decades of mentorship in the games industry.
From co-founding Women in Games International to leading talent programs at PlayStation and Xbox, and now at Rocket Game Talent, the through-line has always been the same: helping people into games and helping them grow, one open door at a time.
This recognition belongs to the mentors who opened doors for me, and to everyone who has let me do the same for them. Nominees will be awarded October 21 at the SoCal Women's Leadership Summit at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles!

Exciting QA opportunity! My firm Rocket Game Talent is seeking an experienced QA Manager currently based in the Los Angeles area for a stealth consumer app that generates personalized interactive stories, art, audio and mini-games for kids. Launch is set for later this Fall.
This is a drop-in-and-run role. The QA foundation is already in place and a team of 6–8 testers is being assembled now. They need a player-coach who can take the lead on day one, test hands-on and own the go/no-go call on every build through launch.
Role focus includes:
• Running release gates and triage with engineering
• Owning the device matrix across iOS and Android phones and tablets
• Testing AI-generated content for quality, consistency, and age-appropriateness, including adversarial edge cases
• Holding the line on COPPA, parental controls and one simple standard: Would a parent thank us for this?
You bring 5+ years in QA, 2+ years leading teams on a shipped mobile app or game, mobile release experience, enough automation fluency to direct Vitest/Jest/Playwright coverage and possible working knowledge of COPPA.
Los Angeles-based | Contract | Starts immediately

My firm Rocket Game Talent is on the hunt for a remote contract Senior Full-Stack Engineer-Interactive App Experiences for a Hollywood-backed AI startup founded by entertainment veterans with major film and television credits.
The creative team is using applied AI to build the next generation of personalized, interactive storytelling. It's the first step toward a new kind of entertainment where the audience is the star.
With launch approaching, they need a senior engineer to own the app experience: reading mode, in-story play, the reward economy and the retention loop. All of it is built kid-safe and COPPA-compliant from day one.
This remote role is 90-day contract with potential to extend up to 6 months. Interested or know someone? Email directly: [email protected]

Word up, Tech Program Managers! Rocket Game Talent has another exciting remote role. This time, a TPM is needed for a genuinely unusual AI platform that’s already production-grade, not an early-stage prototype. Well-funded start-up is East Coast-based.
In this role, you'll run the workflow, review code and config and own the move from single-tenant to multi-tenant architecture, while working directly alongside a highly creative hands-on engineering lead.
Short-term contract for 4 months, with potential to roll into Phase 2 development for another 8 months.

Excited to announce my upcoming talk at #gamescomdev in Cologne, Germany in August, titled "𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁: 𝗥𝗲𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁." Time to address what's changed.
Studios across the UK, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands have shed thousands of roles over the past two years. If you're a European developer still running a job search built for 2021, you're potentially missing out on vital opportunities.
I'll provide an executable plan tailored for the European market as it exists in mid-2026. Don't let your job search strategy hold you back!
