I want to be incredibly clear…if we don’t take a stand to protect our LGBTQIA+ community…those who are trying to dismantle the very heart of this country will not stop. Their targets are vulnerable community after vulnerable community… well we are not vulnerable when we all stand together; when we stand for each other.

My father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when I was in fifth grade. The only reason my family didn’t go bankrupt is because of the support of Social Security when my dad couldn’t work anymore. He passed last September. Thank you for standing up for families like ours @SenBooker
