No, that would be culture.
Families treat their own daughters better than the wives of their sons. They also treat the husbands of their daughters better than the wives of their sons.
In Yoruba culture for instance, the new wife is the least-ranking female in the family

There is no need for a study. What you are seeing is what happens when you put a large group of restless young people in an isolated community situated in a sleepy little town where there isn't much to keep them engaged.
Some of these are not like the others.
I don’t have the right words to express this. But I genuinely feel like growing up in a process heavy Christian doctrine( I’m talking doctrines like Anglican, Baptist, catholic, Pentecostal, RCG, Winners Chapel) has an effect on how easily moved you are by religion. I grew up in the era of processional hymn/recessional hymn and saying nicene creed/apostles creed, singing from Ancient & Modern Hymns And actually saying Grace and surely the way it is in the bible.
Two instruments that should never meet but when they do, you get this.
The kora is 300 years old. 21 strings made from a calabash and cow skin, from West Africa.
The cello is 500 years old. 4 strings, from 16th century Europe.
Different worlds with different histories but they speak the same language.

we are witnessing total and complete state collapse. in the past you needed a license to do this and inspectors will routinely come to visit unannounced! anyways, you people should continue with the tribalism
If you support this you have zero grounds to critique violence against Nigerians any and everywhere it is happening

I am not mincing words and I repeat that we have too many good for nothing and useless yourba elders in the southwest. 8 out of 10 are unfit to be called elders... Too many disgraceful and disgusting fellows🫣

“We were forced to lie that APC didn’t make us suffer….we walked 2-3 miles during campaign.
We campaigned for tinubu and Sanwoolu for 1 month and 3 weeks with nothing to show for it. McOluomo promised us car and N1.5million each but failed to deliver on his promises.
It shall never be well with them……
Another election will come….”

Its always “Africa is the future” never “Africans are the future” and that should tell us everything we need to know.

”A misogynist is allowed to seek the warmth of women while actively hurting women but a feminist isn't allowed to seek for partnership with men if she wants to for what exactly?? "
I never get tired of watching this Queen speak on things like this
I'm yet to see public misogyny not function as a canary in the coal mine for other stronger character defects

immigration debate will go nowhere until we all come to terms it is deeply inhumane to have such massive differences in living standards across the globe and expect people to just accept that

Ubuntu is increasingly invoked in AI ethics as a relational African ethical resource and as an African alternative to liberal individualism. But mere invocation is not meaningful structural integration.
Anye-Nkwenti Nyamnjoh argues that unless questions of power, institutional design, contestation and remedy are brought into view, Ubuntu risks entering AI governance only as rhetorical affirmation, signalling epistemic presence without reshaping how harms, power and accountability are actually handled. He offers four concrete governance recommendations:
→ Participatory authority with real decision-making power for those most affected
→ Reciprocity in data practices through solidarity-based data agreements
→ Restorative responses to harm that go beyond procedural correction
→ Collective data stewardship through an Ubuntu-informed data commons

This is exactly what they think - because they live behind high walls & have generators running constantly and are fed on tax payers dime, they don't believe people are suffering.
It doesn't stop there. They don't believe the country is insecure. They don't believe the roads are bad. They don't believe education is in the pits. They don't believe we lack access to healthcare.
They think all our pain and suffering are lies manufactured by the opposition to get them out of power.
He's told you exactly what the Tinubu admin thinks of you. The question is what are you going to do about it?

I have people working for me privately and i ask them questions about how they’re surviving and adjusting. This government has increased minimum wage by more than 100%.
