We had a bit more of an action-packed start to our second day of the Alberta Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics Association conference than planned. Thank you to @EFFU_209 for a quick response and staff at the @thematrixhotel for helping to keep everyone safe!

We spent the day with Kharkiv's incredibly courageous first responders and saw a Russian "double tap" in real time. Watch how they maintain their focus and calm as rockets slam into the building. With incredible team @BrentSwailsCNN @scottycnn @maria_avdv Richie Deakins

Lake Powell is shrinking. These photos were taken 9 months apart (Top photo 6/23/21 - Bottom photo 3/27/22) at Lake Powell's Lone Rock Beach in Utah. Water levels at the lake are at their lowest level since the lake was created in 1963 by damming the Colorado River. #drought

Yesterday Fire Fighters were called out for a dog that was in the river unable to get back onto the ice shelf. Members were successful in the rescue, and the dog was brought back to shore safely. #medhat #medicinehat #medicinehatfirefighters #icerescue

It's time to stand together as Albertans to protest the 2021 draft curriculum by showing our government it's time to DITCH THE DRAFT!

Yesterday I spoke in #ableg about the bravery of #Alberta firefighters, and how important it is that our province support these heroes when they develop occupational related cancers. The #abgov must update its presumptive coverages to ensure full protection for AB firefighters.
