A thread 🧵 on the debacle that is Bournemouth's vigilante group Safeguard Force and how it launched.
Another foreigner attempting to thwart UK democracy by donating to Reform. When is our Government going to get a grip and ban this corruption.
EXCL: Nigel Farage’s newest billionaire donor was in business with a powerful Iranian religious foundation under the authority of the country’s supreme leader, raising questions about his past dealings with the hardline republic.
Hossein Ghandehari, also called Sasan, was little known in the UK until he pledged to give millions to Reform UK this summer and donated £50,000 to Farage to cover the cost of two passes for the Davos World Economic Forum.

Reform UK found guilty and fined £1750 over Gorton & Denton 'Patricia Clegg' letter and some similar letters in other by-elections.
Turns out 'Patricia Clegg' worked for Reform UK all along.
The fine has been increased to £2187 for failure to pay the fine.

I think there is quite a lot of corruption in British politics, on all sides, but surely taking a secret £5m bung from a Thai Crypto billionaire is the absolute peak.
Nothing like it has been seen before.
Any other politician that did something like this would be long gone by now..

Following the Covid Inquiry's damning verdict on @MattHancock, we've launched a petition to remove him from the Privy Council.
His actions led to thousands of avoidable deaths.
This is a first symbolic step towards accountability.

He was a member of the fisheries committee in the EU when an MEP. He attended 1 out of 44 meetings.
Yeah, he really cares about the fishing industry....😉😆
Nigel Farage has vowed that, if he becomes prime minister, he will tear up the post-Brexit fishing agreement signed by Keir Starmer, which allows EU boats to fish much closer to the British coast, and restore exclusive control of the UK’s traditional 12-mile territorial waters.
Speaking at a rally in the fishing port of Plymouth, the Reform UK leader branded the deal an “absolute betrayal” of coastal communities and the promises made after the 2016 referendum.
He said the minimum expectation after Brexit was that Britain would regain proper control of its inshore waters, and he pledged to reinstate the historic 12 mile limit telling Brussels that if they don’t like it, “tough luck.”

It's always worth re- capping:
- just after recieving the £5m, Farage purchased a £1.4m house IN CASH
- He claimed that his fee from I'm a celeb had been used to purchase the house
- It was then revealed that he has previously told the FT his I'm a Celeb fee had been paid to his company - Thorn in the Side.
- The Thorn in the Side accounts, filed with companies house, clearly show that the funds stayed in the company, therefore he lied.
- Farage has been tripping himself up from day 1 in relation to the £5m gift

Excl: New undercover footage shared with the Guardian raises fresh questions about Reform leader’s statement that £5m gift was for security
Farage's claim that the money was a reward for Brexit was "not the line to take from the press office".
The conversation also shows former close aide Dan Jukes say that it is "a bit priced in" by the public that Farage should profit from politics.

This is a shocking watch. But it needs to be seen.
This is what's going on inside Nigel Farage's party.

On 19 July 2024, I published two posts on my X account in which I made allegations about Mr Mothin Ali being involved in the Harehills riots. I have accepted these were incorrect and I have jointly made a statement in open Court in order to apologise to Mr Ali and correct the record which is below.

It’s not a handful. We’ve exposed Reform councillor after Reform councillor, and many of them are still in the party. Here are some of the worst 👇

Reform Councillor Dean Miller on ITV News's expose,
"King Charles is a f*cking Muslim"
Says that's "traitorous"
And then says, "cut the c*nts head off, sorry"
My view: The sheer extremism of this statement is staggering, words spoken so casually.
A democratically elected councillor suggesting that the British monarch should be beheaded because he supposedly follows Islam is not simply offensive language. It is a chilling expression of religious hatred and violent extremism.
And consider the underlying prejudice: even if King Charles were Muslim, why on earth would that make him a traitor? Since when has someone's religion determined their loyalty to Britain?
Dean Miller has since resigned from Reform UK, but how is he still in public office in Bromley Council, or anywhere for that matter?
How can a democratic system claim to uphold equality, tolerance and the rule of law when its institutions lack the powers to remove elected representatives for even the most serious misconduct?
The issue goes far beyond Dean Miller or Reform UK. It raises fundamental questions about accountability across our entire political system.
There should be an immediate police assessment of remarks advocating violence, alongside an independent investigation and a legally robust process for removing councillors found responsible for serious misconduct.

Racism. Misogyny. Far right activity. Swept under the carpet.
These latest damning revelations go right to the top of Reform UK. Farage can't say he's not responsible.
As Reform themselves put it: they're defending the indefensible.
