₹2 buys a stranger's home address. We tested a Play Store app with 10M+ downloads selling VAHAN/eChallan data, one number plate gave us the owner's full name, father's name, permanent address, insurance policy, chassis and engine numbers, all of which Parivahan masks behind an OTP.
This isn't a hack. Researchers at Cyderes traced it to licensed API keys given to KYC companies, now resold on Telegram.

सर्वेश को कौन नहीं जानता है। फोटो पत्रकारिता के लंबे दौर में सर्वेश ने कितने ही चुनाव कवर किए होंगे। उनका नाम भी SIR से कट गया है। दिल्ली में ही पैदा हुईँ। दिल्ली में पढ़ी हैं। सर्वेश चुप रहने वालीं पत्रकार नहीं हैं लेकिन उनके जीवन में फॉर्म भरने का एक काम चुनाव आयोग की वजह से आया। उनका सही कहना है कि फार्म 6 क्यों भरें जबकि वे इसी दिल्ली की मतदाता रही हैं।

I have been to some events where the Government showcases it's technical process.
For facial recognition software, I am not impressed.
25-year old algorithms. Opaque numbers, opaque optimisations.
If they made their code open-source, or published aggregate metrics of recall and precision, I would be less skeptical.
Until then, I wouldn't be surprised to see more reports like the above.

I visited the Integrated Command & Control Center yesterday.
The team was very welcoming and open to suggestions.
It seems like they have a pothole reporter of their own planned! They are going to have a public discussion regarding the same.
However, no dates are set yet. I will follow up regarding this :)
Meanwhile, you can report potholes on X by tagging the GBA or ICCC.
Pothole reporter will be available on android playstore in one week.

The floods in the Himalayan region are caused by heavy rainfall. And China is behind this . This is like a world war situation. Narendra Modi is doing nothing about it. We are not Japan, we are not Russia. Those countries handle things properly. Do you understand? Is this a manmade disaster or not? I am saying it is not purely a natural disaster. The rainfall alone is not the cause. Do you understand, my son?
I have my own theory, but now you people are underestimating the real issue. Women, the common people, they are suffering greatly. What is happening? Are you even paying attention? Is anyone sending messages about this? In this matter?
Eight meters of water rose. People are dying. People are saying these are manmade floods. The governments are not taking this seriously. They are not able to take proper action. The action they are taking is as useless as throwing water at the Himalayan floods themselves.
Rainfall is very heavy because of Hansala and Humthe regions. But this land, this is my father's land. We earn only two rupees as daily wage laborers. How many fires, how many disasters have come under the grip of this rising water level? The water level has dropped fifty units below normal and the discharge is nearly one lakh cubic meters to the power of three. But still the flood is not receding.
