Many of the world's problems could be lessened if we saw things in more nuanced tones, rather than in black and white. Not everything's a binary opposition.

The "mostly peaceful protests" in France.

Yes. Hurrah once again for Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee Brewers, for the first time in 44 years, are going to the World Series. They sweep the Dodgers. 🧢⚾️🏟️

You never see Hasan Piker and Matt Walsh in the same room...

Good old Frank Bellamy. He injected a certain excitement into his illustrations:

It's like when every political party claims that Jesus would have been one of their members.
For those saying Martin Luther King was a Republican.

A letter in the Daily Sketch in 1969. Nice to see that people were open-minded even in those days.

See? I KNEW it was Peter Cushion! But then Bournemouth has always been an alternative universe.

I've had a team of (imaginary) artists working through the night creating merch from my similar, but not identical character Toast-EY. Samsung 'phone cases availabile through my RedBubble. (I'll also sell to i-Phone wankers).

I'm sure Toast-IE is going to be the next big thing. I would like one for Christmas.

OK, is this really a Black/White thing, or is this a rich-poor disparity? And to what extent does a private business have a duty to equalise service across demographics (outside illegal discrimination)? Mobile phone coverage is probably better in Black communities than White.

Great soundbite from Brillo in his @Triggernometry interview: "The British think they can have Scandinavian levels of welfare, while paying mid-Atlantic taxes." Which really characterises all voters: "Give us the stuff, but let someone else pay for it." youtu.be/eAi7ZqygrCU

Well, that paid off rather quickly.

Yes, @mywitsend, I'm aware of the Nights of the Long Knives, but this isn't that. Generals aren't being 'fired'; positions are just being reduced to cut administrative bloat. The Musk/Gingrich project is totally unrelated.

Yes, @Guelfi59, I can explain. That's not what happened. A long-established Department of Justice policy holds that a sitting President can't be federally prosecuted or indicted, as it would unconstitutionally inhibit the ability of the executive branch to function.

Here's the economics lecture people *do* need: 1) because of cumulative inflation. 2) because of supply and demand. 3) because of supply and demand. 4) probably nobody.

"Nigella Lawson Finds Belsen Link"... because the researchers led her straight there. I love Who Do You Think You Are, but sometimes it's very clichéd.

Having rewatched this, I am reminded that it was NOT the obvious route from Jewish family to Belsen that this episode took. It was presented in a sensitive and interesting way - also, I love the Rabbi that she talked to - he is also a singer and magician! youtu.be/P4NXY29GNXQ

I'm sharing this because it's a terrific work of art.
I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota. It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation. Thank you for liking my post! Proud to be Native American

Frost/Nixon. How do men from that era make their legs do that?!
