Why do I feel like I’ve gotta run myself into the ground every day to just survive? And then when I take some time for myself, I get kicked in the ass and slapped across the face by life?

Happiest of birthdays to @conquerer_g! I hope you have a really great day and are able to celebrate in all the ways you want to, my friend. And if you think about it, the brewers gave you an early birthday present this week!

The discourse around the timeline changes for The Magician’s Nephew is really starting to piss me the fuck off It is coming from a place of book purity that to me is really just a resistance to change and interpretation. An adaptation can be faithful and still make changes

I’m so here for this. I love Greta Gerwig and the way she designs things for the screen.

Greta Gerwig says "I wouldn’t be who I am without these books" as she unveils the trailer for "Narnia: The Magician's Nephew." “I made a beeline for Ted Sarandos at a cocktail party and said, ‘I really think you should start with ‘The Magician’s Nephew.' About 20 minutes later he said, ‘Do you want to write it?’ At that point, I had only made ‘Lady Bird’ and ‘Little Women.’ I hadn’t done ‘Barbie’ yet... I told Ted I only know how to make movies for the big screen. ‘He said, ‘Make the movie for the biggest screen and trust the process.'” variety.com/2026/film/news/n…
