We've been multitasking House and Senate hearings as we approach Thursday's deadline. We just jumped into the hearing of SB 1677 in the Senate, a bill which could put 2SLGBTQ+ youth into foster and adoptive homes that would subject them to so-called conversion therapy.

I need folks to rally around trans folks having access to accurate documents. This bill is bad, in a way that disrupts the ability of trans folks born in OK, regardless of where they live now, from having accurate, consistent documents that reflect their identity.

In the OK House today: they're banning folks from carrying in pride flags to the meeting. Questions about it were met with an increased trooper presence, and threats to not allow folks in the meeting.
